Tomoya Mato — Software Engineer for Materials Science
tomoya@mato ~ $cat README
Mostly this is the after-hours half: surf incidents reconstructed
frame by frame, every day on a trail counted honestly enough to include the ones
that turned back, board games, small tools, and four 2011 Mac minis that document
themselves because something once ran here unnoticed for two years.
The day job is materials data at NIMS, and its official record is SAMURAI
rather than this page. The publications below reach back further than that list does:
the oldest is infrared spectroscopy on a light-driven sodium pump, from before any of
the materials work, and SAMURAI has no room for it.
